While in Moscow, we visited Great-Great-Great Aunt Ruth. Maylee concentrated hard on the puzzle. She thought she needed to help Ruth like her mom and grandma were. She also used one of Don's shot glasses to get a drink of water.
With a heavy heart this is the end of Cinder's Family Blog and the family as we once knew. Hopes will crumble, but hope in God never does. I believe God has a healthier and more beautiful plan for Maylee, Kaleah and I. ~Wendy

Kev's 3rd U of I Graduation
Kev graduated with his third degree from U of I, an administration degree. Currently, he enjoys his position as elementary p.e. teacher but this degree gives him options in the future that he may explore.
I love this photo of Maylee and Kev...
These were taken in Ammie and Papa's yard during the graduation party...

Buses!
Maylee has loved buses for some time now. We usually see four to eight buses a day driving her to and from the babysitter's house. When Maylee would see one she would point and say "bus." Due to Spring Break, she didn't see any buses so the following Monday when we took her to the babysitter's house she screamed "BUS!!"
In May, the weather was finally nice so one day after school we took Maylee to our school district's bus barn. She loved it! Until this trip, I don't think she realized how big they are. On the way home, she chanted over and over, "I want more bus...I want more bus..."

Happy Mother's Day 2011
Kev took Maylee to CdA for a secret Mother's Day project. They returned with a rose for me and said the rest of the project will be ready in three days. I was very curious and couldn't figure it out. Three days later we went to a pottery store and picked up my gift. Maylee painted a ladybug pottery dish for me! She likes ladybugs. Around the side it says "Happy Mother's Day! Love, Maylee."
