Grandma Day at the Park

Staff from my mother's elementary school decided to have a day at the park with their grandchildren. 

The three youngest grand-babies all have birthdays within three weeks of each other!

Sleepovers with Cousins

Maylee has had many sleepovers this summer...some at Grandma Julie's and some times the cousins have come up to her house.  She loves the attention of her cousins!

Look at Me Stand in my Crib!

Four days after Maylee started crawling forwards she started pulling herself up on furniture.  I left her in the living room with some toys so I could go to the bathroom and while washing my hands I heard her celebrating.  I found her standing and holding onto the coffee table!  I took a picture with my cell phone but forgot to with the camera.  Then later that day I heard her celebrating in her bedroom after a nap.  I found her standing up in her crib!  She is so proud when she pulls herself up!  Now, it is ten days after she started crawling forwards and she is able to pull herself to look out the front window, to be able to stand by holding onto the back of my legs, and is able to walk along the side of the coffee table and switch over to the couch to get to me.  She is also a faster crawler and will come find me if I am not within eye sight.

Aunt Connie stopped by Grandma Julie's to see Maylee.  Maylee showed her how she also loves pigs.  (Aunt Connie collects pigs).  Grandma Julie has a soft farm set and Maylee loves the pig most of all, especially chewing on its tail.

Maylee and I had lunch with Kev at his summer time job...fire fighter for the Forest Service.  This is his 11th season and he loves it.

Kev's 1st Father's Day

We were at the cabin for Father's Day.  Maylee's personal gift for her dad was crawling forwards!  After months of scooting and crawling backward she figured it out and both of us were there to witness it! I started walking at nine months nine days, and Maylee started crawling at nine months nine days and 23 hrs (so basically nine months ten days).

Maylee's 1st Time at the Lochsa Cabin

The river is too high so not much of the beach is showing, but we still had a good time with family.  Kev caught a salmon and his younger cousins enjoyed playing with Maylee.  I lost two games of Washers...probably because my partner is a "Lefty"...hee hee.  Maylee skipped her afternoon nap because she didn't want to miss anything with her cousins.  They took her on stroller walks, helped her ride her bike, and played with her on the floor.  Mood wise, she did really well and battled hard until 10pm when she could no longer keep her eyes open to watch the campfire.

Kev went to high school and college with Mindy and her sisters, Marci & Melinda. We met up with Mindy and her baby Maddie which was neat because we hadn't seen them since Christmas time.  Maylee loved Maddie and Maddie loved Maylee's jumper (Maylee shared nicely).
