With a heavy heart this is the end of Cinder's Family Blog and the family as we once knew. Hopes will crumble, but hope in God never does. I believe God has a healthier and more beautiful plan for Maylee, Kaleah and I. ~Wendy

Go Vandals! Humanitarian Bowl 2009
Maylee sported her Vandals dress for the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl. The dress was good luck because they won. It was a very exciting game...Daddy's yelling from both disappointing and exciting plays would startle Maylee. Grandpa Dean says she better get used to it.
More Christmas!
After Christmas with Maylee's maternal side, we traveled down to spend time with her paternal side. We did Christmas again with Great Grandma Linda, Grandpa Dean, Grandma Shirley, Uncle Craig, and Tabitha.

Maylee Officially Rolled Over!
Maylee rolled over from her belly to her back for the first time at Grandma Julie's house on Dec. 27th. She immediately started crying so either rolling over startled her or Grandma Julie cheering with excitement did.

Holding Her Bottle On Her Own for the 1st Time
Aunt Kathy was amazed with Maylee's ability to hold her own bottle and really impressed when we told her this was the first time she had ever done it.

Christmas Day!
Maylee's first Christmas was a fun filled day! We woke up to discover that Santa had found us at Grandma Julie and Grandpa Bruce's house. Even Cinder had a few presents and loved to help open ours.
After gift opening at their house we went out to Aunt Connie's house for the extended family gathering (59 people + 2 dogs + Hag the Cat). Both Maylee and Cinder did really well. Cinder enjoyed some time bird hunting out on the farm and Maylee enjoyed being passed around and held by different relatives.
