Maylee's May Day Party

Maylee really wanted to have a party with all her friends at her house.  Her birthday isn't until September so we agreed on a May Day party because her name is Maylee.  The kids decorated pots, planted flowers, and played.  She already has plans for next year's May Day party...a picnic theme.

Comparisons of Our Girls

We know our girls look the same so for fun I went through the archives to find ones of Maylee around the same age doing similar things.  We kept all of Maylee's old clothes so when Kaleah wears one of those outfits we feel like we are experiencing deja vu.  Sometimes I will put Kaleah in the same outfit and poses just to be able to do side-by-side comparisons of how similar they are.  I'm always amazed when I upload the pictures onto the computer and find Maylee's old pictures to put beside Kaleah's.  When I showed Maylee these pictures, she thought they were all of Kaleah.

This is what I found...

Leadman 2013

Kevin convinced his cousin Emma to do Leadman with him.  This meant the Emma and Sarah got to come to Maylee's house!  (She loves it when that happens!)  Leadman is a triathlon where competitors have to ski, bike, and run.

First Hair Cut

Great Aunt Julie gave Maylee her first haircut!

(Now every time we stop by Aunt Julie's salon Maylee thinks she needs her hair cut and nails painted.)

Easter 2013

We spent Easter weekend in Moscow.  On Saturday, Maylee and Ammie made Easter cookies.  At first, Maylee helped cut out the cookies but then she found playing with the excess dough more exciting.  She decided to design her own cookie and plopped it on the corner of the baking sheet.  Maylee said, "This is my house cookie."  

That Easter Bunny left tracks and gift baskets again!
