Carving the Pumpkin
Halloween Night
Maylee was a fairy (except we left her wings at home when she traveled in her car seat).
Kaleah was a cupcake.
They went trick-or-treating at the houses next to us and then we went to the local high school. They had a trick-or-treat event where you go to the different classroom doors. It was nice because it was lit and warm.
Kaleah stood by herself for about 12 seconds!
At our neighbor's house...
Another Proud Mommy-Who-Is-A-Kindergarten-Teacher Moment
Sandy gave Maylee stickers and Maylee sorted them (pumpkins on left hand, ones that say "boo" on the right hand). Then she held up her hands to Sandy and said, "Which hand has the most?" (Sandy picked correctly.) Then she said "Which hand has the fewest?" Yeah! So many kindergartners mix up most and fewest. I'm glad my daughter knows and applies the correct term.
Kaleah giggles every time she picks up the hula-hoop and drops it back on the floor.
