New January Skills

This month, Maylee...

1. Became more aware of her dog and reaches out to grab Cinder
2. Explored her mouth and vocal chords more. Our favorite noises are her growling and cooing sounds.  Her growling is always so lady like sounding!  She will take turns with Kev growling back and forth at each other.
3. Giggled really good for the first time
4. Has become more aware of sounds and turns her head to figure out where the sounds is coming from
5. Developed an interest in food that her parents are eating...trying to grab at it and opens her mouth
6. Notices toys and prefers the toys she can grab and put her mouth around
7. Figured out how to find her thumb to suck when she is tired and wants to sleep...she prefers her right thumb
8. Sleeps about 8 1/2 hours every night and goes about 10 hrs between feedings at that time.  During the day she eats about 6oz every 3 hours.
9. Still loves the whales singing to put her to sleep and being swaddled!
10. Continues to roll once in a while from her back to her belly, but not belly to back yet.
